I would think that is really going to hurt some of the old peripherals or else slow the move to x64. I wonder if Vista Ultimate x32 also takes this approach? I believe x32 allows one to override the policy and install unsigned drivers. Microsoft seems to have forced the x64 folks to bite the bullet.
